“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed” -Luke 1:46-48
Mary’s words, aren’t they remarkable. This very... young woman accepted the words of the angel Gabriel without question, and replied “I am the Lord’s servant, may it be to me as you have said.” She did not doubt the ability of the Lord, or the statement of the angel. In her there was no unbelief. Isn’t that admirable…and shouldn’t it be our own heart’s desire.
