In the last seven months two people that have crossed my path in the last couple of years, were taken from cancer. I didn't know these people very well, yet their lives and their families had greatly touched me.
Both were such huge inspirations in my small community. Both had touched and changed so many people. I know many lives were changed for good, because of their amazing hearts.
God makes a plan and a path in every heartache. I don't believe God gave these two people cancer, that is not something he created, yet he used them and it, in a beautiful way. He had a plan and a purpose through it all. He shined a bright light in something that was so dark. He made something that was so ugly... beautiful.
The thing that touched me most was that they knew God was there.
I love this song by Casting Crowns. The lyrics are touching and fitting for each and everyone of us. Please take the time to meditate and listen/read the words. If your life seems out of control, be blessed in knowing that God is already there and your life is His masterpiece. It is a mystery, and a grand one indeed.
