Day 180: Keep My Heart Alive...

I thought this was a good song for us Americans today. There is only One that can satisfy and keep our heart alive. Don't let this health care stuff get ya down. Tough times could be ahead of us, but we'll get through, especially with Him in your heart.

Day 178: Our Feet...

This was too pretty to not share. I have a weird thing when it comes to feet (they really freakishly gross me out) Haha, so this was a neat thing for me to read and it's so true. God has made our feet beautiful, in so many ways. Enjoy and be blessed.

God makes our feet like those of a deer who is able to climb to high ground and stand secure—Psalm 18:33

God keeps our feet steady and free from wavering—Psalm 18:36

As we keep our eyes upon the Lord, He will keep our feet from the traps of the enemy—Psalm 25:15

God has removed our feet from the ground that sinks and stinks, and has placed them upon ground that is as solid and firm as a rock— Psalm 40:2

God has put our feet on the pathway of life that is filled with the light of His presence—Psalm 56:13

The paths that God will make for our feet will keep us from living a life of regrets—Psalm 116:8

Happy feet are the feet that walk in the way of obedience to the Lord—Psalm 119:59

Feet that walk according to the Word of God will always be stepping away from evil—Psalm 119:101

The Word of God will always shine enough light on our path so our feet can take the next step—Psalm 119:105

Our feet don’t automatically move in the right direction, but they follow the path of our choices—Proverbs 4:26

Our feet were made to take us to the places where the Gospel of peace and the good news of Salvation can be proclaimed—Isaiah 52:7

Our feet need to keep moving us toward the day when His feet shall once again stand upon the Mount of Olives at His return. Zechariah 14:4

Day 177: Good News...

Today I’m going to lead you to another wonderful blog that has recently written a very good post.

This is a little long, but so worth reading. Even though times are hard, we Christians need to "truly" remember the GOOD news. This was a blessing to me and so beautifully written. Thank you to Mr. Batson! With all the stressful situations I've been through lately, I really needed this loving reminder.

To those who read, may you be blessed and touched.

Day 176: Healing Is In Your Hand

That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
~Ephesians 3:18-19

One of my favorite songs. I heart the lyrics. May you truly be blessed by these beautiful and truthful words.

Day 173: Good Things To Remember...

Here are two great reminders that I try to always hold dear and never forget.

By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves]. ~John 13:35

When you love people without any conditions or exceptions, people will notice. Let love for others be your ID. All people will know you are my Followers if you love each other. ~Wilma

So beautifully true... Love is God and without it we don't have God. Why?Because you can't find undying Love anywhere else. Love is the greatest thing to ever be given and the strongest thing you'll ever find. God's great beauty and wonder. Love can melt the hardest heart, heal the wounds of the broken heart and quiet the fears of the anxious heart.

Every time God makes a promise, the devil makes a plan. And when the enemy presses in, we can be tempted to grab for ourselves, gripe at God, and grind our gears in our own strength.
As I've said many times before, Lord, help us to remember in the darkness what You told us in the light!
~Susie Larson

I especially love the last sentence... how easily do we forget.

I apologize if there are any funny typos/grammar :D My eyes are super tired, yet my mind not so much. Anyways I hope my post blesses you in some small way :-) Two good things to remember...

Prayer Request...

If you could spare any prayers, could you please left my family up. Especially my mom and sister.

My family has been hit a little hard this last month with some scary hard news.

My sister Hayley, had a needle biopsy done to her thyroid in her neck Monday. Please lift her up and pray that everything will go well. That this is nothing serious and that it would go away and not need surgery. We should get back the results in a few days. Pray that they'll come back benign. I had to have thyroid surgery when I was just 12 and we really don’t want Hayley to go through the same thing.

My mom is going into surgery tomorrow at 9:00a.m. and is really nervous. She has never had surgery for anything before and this will be her first time being put under with anesthesia.  Her recovery is going to be at least six weeks. This isn’t anything too serious, yet it isn’t something small. Please left her up in prayer for courage and strength. That the surgery goes as planned and that the healing is quick and painless.

My blog for the next week might be having some small post, because of my family situations. Thanks for lifting us in prayer. Really means a lot!

Day 171: I Took The Cut...

Okay... remember that thing I asked you all if I should or shouldn't do, back in April? Will I finally did it! I took the cut.

For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll fill you in. Back in April I wanted to cut and donate my hair for cancer. Pantene Beauty Lengths was doing their first ever National Donate Your Hair to Cancer Day at the end of April . I've been wanting to do this for years, but was never brave enough to go that short. Locks for Love is 11 inches... Pantene Beautiful Lengths is 8 inches. I donated 9 inches.

I wanted to do this back in April close to the day, but ended up having to cancel my appointment, because my family and I were starting a new business and it just was too crazy.

Almost two months later, I finally got the nerve up to do it again and made an appointment. Boy am I glad I did.

Day 170: Small Snippet Of TROH And A Pic Writing Challenge...

Worked a little on my book The Realm of Hearts today. (Yes, I'm still doing my P5 for Camp Nano...  when this one calls me though, I must reply.)

So recently I've been re-writing and editing backwards on it. Weird?... yes, but it has been helpful on fixing a few holes. I'm for sure a "seat of your pants writer" and realize things don't get smoothed out as well, unlike when you have an outline. So why don't I do an outline? Will, I have. I just don't stick with it. Plus not knowing where you are going to go is so much more fun. ;-)

So today I worked on a scene inspired by this photo below. I found this on Devianart a few weeks back and knew it was perfect for one of my ending scenes.
Here is just a very small snippet of it... (PLEASE know that this was just written in today and will more than likely be edited slightly or differently in the future. I have also cut out just a little within it, because it might give away too much. PLEASE do not copy in any way! Corazon is a Pegasus, but her wings at this time are unable to fly. The reason for that will be shared later...mwwahahaha ;-)

Corazon was now on the edge. The strong current of the waterfall blew her damp mane back into her rider. She stamped the ground and raised her body back, knowing it was certain death if she fell.
“Go Corazon. Trust that the Great One will be with us.” her rider urged her forward.
Corazon shook her head and let out a frantic neigh.
“Creator of All, guild us as we fall. Give us light, when there is none to see. Let us not fail, yet prevail. I know this is not the end. Now go, dear Corazon!"
Corazon edged forward, slightly slipping on the wet edge. Rocks skipped down below, but the sound of their fall was never heard.
"Swift wings of flight, give us heights. Guild us to wonders above. Lead us through the wind and water. Safely to the splendors of love."
With a gentle kick, Corazon stepped off the edge...

I did say it was a very small snippet :-) I know not a very grand one either... forgive me if I have any *cough* grammar mistakes... I'm always learning the proper ways. I promise to share more snippets in the near future. Bigger and much better ones!

So what kind of scene would you write from this picture?
Feel free to write your version in the comments below.

Day 169: The Glories Of The Messiah And His Bride...

My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to a King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
You are fairer than the children of men; graciousness is poured upon Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.
Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O mighty One, in Your glory and Your majesty!
And in Your majesty ride on triumphantly for the cause of truth, humility, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); and let Your right hand guide You to tremendous things.
Your arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under You; Your darts pierce the hearts of the King’s enemies.
Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
You love righteousness, uprightness, and right standing with God and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.
Your garments are all fragrant with myrrh, aloes, and cassia; stringed instruments make You glad.
Kings’ daughters are among Your honorable women; at Your right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.
Hear, O daughter, consider, submit, and consent to my instruction: forget also your own people and your father’s house;
So will the King desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, be submissive and reverence and honor Him.
And, O daughter of Tyre, the richest of the people shall entreat your favor with a gift.
The King’s daughter in the inner part [of the palace] is all glorious; her clothing is inwrought with gold.
She shall be brought to the King in raiment of needlework; with the virgins, her companions that follow her, she shall be brought to You.
With gladness and rejoicing will they be brought; they will enter into the King’s palace.
Instead of Your fathers shall be Your sons, whom You will make princes in all the land.
I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; therefore shall the people praise and give You thanks forever and ever.
 ~Psalm 45

Day 168: A Thank You To All You Dads...

Dad's are special. They teach you a lot of good things. Like how to put a cooler in (did that today with my dad). How to shoot a gun (or arrow). How to throw a ball, set up a tent, drive and take care of your car. Yet, the greatest thing that dad's teach us is... how to love.

Their teaching of love is a special love. It's a love that we pass to our spouse and children. A love that becomes the strong hold for our future home. A love you can't find anywhere else.

I would like to thank my dad. I am very blessed! Thank you dad for everything you have done for me. All the hard work you have done and provided for your family. For your patients when I drive you crazy over my silly quirks. For always willing to teach me, even when I don't get it... I remember those algebra days. Haha. I love you dad and I greatly thank God for you.

Please remember to thank your dad today... actually thank him often. Sadly I know some of us don't have a real dad or a very good dad... that's okay. Thank the one man strongest in your life, whether it be your grandpa that is raising you, your uncle, your foster dad, step dad etc. Dads come in many different ways and it doesn't make them less special. Also we all have the Greatest dad of all... Our Heavenly Father.

Happy Father's Day and may you have a blessed one.

Day 167: Don't Think Less Being Young...

Let no one despise or think less of you because of your youth, but be an example (pattern) for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. ~1 Timothy 4:12

There are a lot of things that us "younger" people can't do, like the "older" people can. You have to wait to be sixteen to get your driver license, some states it's fifteen. You must be eighteen to vote and officially be considered an adult... but truly it's not until you turn at least twenty-one, that people actually see you as an adult.

High School graduation recently just passed. So many young people getting ready to start a new adventure in their life. So many of them have waited for this day, to finally be considered an older person and go by their own rules. If they only knew...

God doesn't wait to give you a purpose when your considered older. He set it out the day you where born. Everyday you have a purpose! Stand strong and believe in yourself... don't change for the world. Continue to grow in God's love and walk in the grand adventure He has laid out before you everyday.

Being young is nothing to frown upon. Many heroes have come from the youth... David being one of them. Don't grow up too fast, enjoy the you now.

Day 166: A Steadfast Heart...

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is steadfast and confident! I will sing and make melody. ~Psalm 57:7
I'm sure you have noticed my fellow readers that I have been slacking a little on my blog post. They are not nearly as good as what they were when I first started this journey at the beginning of this year and I'm sorry for that. Thank you for still reading... I can tell from my stats, that you are still there.
Summer time is a time of rest, but my summer is starting off a little hectic. My family is going through some scary situations and with it follows stress. Anxiety and me don't get along very well. In fact it has been something I have struggled with, even at a young age. I don't want to share all the details because I might just sound a little crazy. ;-)
I'm kinda a worry wart at times. Haha okay I admit it, I worry too much. From little things, to big things. I hide it well from most people, which isn't always the best thing to do. I need to learn to let go of some of these worries and truly always have a steadfast heart.
I realize my anxiety gets so much worse when I'm not as close to God. Being a Christian is a BIG part of my life and who I am, yet sometimes I can be pretty lazy about it. From slacking in prayer time, to going for days without "really" reading my Bible.
Listening and singing some good worship music, lefts my soul. It's something I do everyday, but that alone doesn't completely fill me up.
Siting down and soaking in His Mighty Words, comforts my heart. His words are truly alive!
Taking a quiet time of prayer,  restores all hope that has been lost. The King of the universe listens to little me.
When I do all three of these, life goes smoother and truly happier. Why do I ever forget?
Life is crazy, yet it is also beautiful. Too many of us are depressed and sorrow filled. Today Dr.Oz (shocking... I do watch him sometimes) had Goldie Hawn on and she talked about finding true everyday happiness, from her struggle with depression. She had a lot of things right, such as everyday gratitude and only you can change your attitude. Yet she had a very huge thing missing and that was Jesus.
This world has a lot to offer, but none will give you lasting satisfaction. Only your Savior can. Only He can restore your hope and fill you with love, because He and He only is hope and love, and everything good and pure.
I want a Steadfast Heart, how about you?

Day 164: A Change For Life...

I read this earlier today and was greatly touched by it. I have shared the 180 movie a few times on my blog. In my opinion it is one of the greatest pro-life videos I have ever seen. You can't help but cry and be greatly moved by it, even if you already believe the great truth it shares... the sanctity of life.

This movie is truly made for those that are pro-choice... to show a unique, yet compiling twist to the Pro-life point of view. Comparing Hitler and the holocaust with abortion, might sound pretty crazy and odd to some people, yet they seem to fit pretty similar to each other.

If you haven't seen the 180 movie please follow the link to my post on it here.  If you don't have time to watch the movie right now, there are also 15 reasons to NOT have an abortion, below that video in that post. You are not alone and there are many other options and loving people everywhere to help you.

Living Waters is posting this email with permission from the sender. What you are about to read is remarkable!!!!!!!!!

Linda Wrote:
You won't like me very much after reading this, but that's ok. You wanted my feedback, so here it is. I've had 2 abortions, and I am going for another one next week. If you really thought this would make me do a 180, you are sadly mistaken. Comparing what Hitler did, to abortion is absurd. It's like trying to compare fire and water, you can't. This movie made me very angry. Wow, Ray, wow where did you get this idea? Pull it out of some hat with ideas people gave you? It's a horribly cruel trick, to try and change people's minds. I am smarter than that. Using the god factor means nothing. There is no god. There is no heaven or hell, and even if there was I do not care. It's very judgmental to say there is never a reason to abort a pregnancy. This has got to be one of the worst films I have come across. Keep your god, and your religion. Quit trying to make people do a 180. It IS a woman's choice. ~Linda

Ray's Response:
Linda, Thanks for writing and sharing your thoughts. I do appreciate that.

Someone came to visit us yesterday who watched the movie last October (that’s one of our production crew in the picture—holding the fruit of “180”).

If you live in Southern California, please come and visit. We would take you to lunch, if you wish. Thanks again.
Best wishes, Ray

Linda Wrote:
I am not sure how much this will mean after the email I sent this past week, but I wanted to apologize for the insensitive and and rude email, directed towards you. Please forgive me. I get very angry easily. This movie made me extremely angry. I had no idea it was a Christian film. I am going to be completely honest here, I've been atheist for most of my life, and as far as I'm concerned I will die atheist. I was not expecting an email back. I am 27 years old.

Someone on the street was passing out the 180 Movie last Monday. They asked me if I wanted one. I said, what is it about? They said, about the holocaust. I said, interesting. (I've always loved history) I brought it home, and watched it on Wednesday. I was really liking the film until you started talking about abortion; Like I said I've had two previous. When you got to the part about God, I became even more angry. I hate any thing that has to do with God, about God, by god...and this is another reason I was so hateful in my email.

I did not tell you the truth, in my last email. I was supposed to have the abortion this past Friday. Not this week. When I opened your email, with the attached picture of the beautiful baby...I could not get her out of my head. I tried pushing her out of my mind, but couldn't. I said to myself, why do I feel so guilty? Friday, I was driving with my boyfriend to the clinic, and the little smiling face of her, was permanently cemented in my head. I said to my boyfriend, I can't do this. I've got to go home. We turned around, before we reached the clinic. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I started crying. My boyfriend thought I was nuts!

I cried in bed the rest of that night. The memories of my past two abortions I had, came flooding back. I would have two girls right now, who would be both 9 & 6. I knew they were going to be girls. When you said, "It's ok to kill a baby in the womb when...?" I couldn't answer it. Everything I emailed you, was an attempt to make myself feel better. I really had no good reason for aborting the girls. I've put off the abortion for now, and I will tell you, I have never been confronted like that. I don't think that I can go through with a 3rd abortion.

I will admit this movie makes you think, in my case, it made me think too much...and I did not like it. I hated it.

I hope you understand where I am coming from. I hope you'll excuse my hot-headed email.

I am sorry. Linda.

We are rejoicing for this miracle and are praying for our new friend Linda.

Day163: Live To Make Others Happy...

Don't live for everyone else to make you happy; live to make them happy. ~Joyce Meyer

I like this quote, yet when I try to make others happy, it truly makes me happy. It's a pleasant surprise, that gives back every time! Encourage someone today.Send them a note, give them a call, or the best one of all... meet up with them somewhere. Give some happiness and get some in return.

Day 161: Some Good Wake Ups...

Here are two great "wake ups" that my loving and beautiful hearted friend Taylor posted...  The first one should be a quote...

Satan knows he can’t beat God, but he does know that he has a chance at beating us if we let him. Don't let him.

All right, so can I just say something? You don't have to listen . . .
"Not everyone is relevant to your purpose. Don’t spend energy making irrelevant people relevant."
I've heard a lot about don't judge, or you will be judged, but here's the thing - isn't the one who brings out this statement also judging? And, didn't Jesus even say that Pharisees were white-washed tombs? For those of you who are being dramatic and know Jesus - come on, now, I know God expects way more from the people of God than the silliness of wallowing in self-pity or feelings of self-righteousness because you can't seem to remember what GOD did for YOU. Wake up. God is not a depressing God, not One who respects pride. Get over yourself. And, get into Him. I don't think this complacent attitude needs to hang around any longer. Make a choice - your drama or His glory. Can't be both ways.

Day 159: The Land of the Living...

Today went by too fast and I wasn't able to completely finish the fun news I wanted to share with you all... I really hope to tomorrow.  For now enjoy this thought provoking post below, courtesy of Joyce Meyer.

In Psalm 27:13, David asked, basically, "What in the world would have happened to me? What kind of condition would I be in? What pit would I be in, had I not believed I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living?"

We spend a lot of time talking about what heaven will be like. That is great, but we are hear on earth right now. We need to know something good is going to happen to us now. David said that he believed he would see God's goodness while he was alive, not just after he went to heaven.

I am looking forward to heaven, but I do not believe that God put us on earth to try to muddle through life until we get to heaven so we can finally have some joy. In John 10:10, Jesus says, "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)." God wants us to have abundant life right now, and one of the worst things we can do is fail to live lives that we enjoy. I want to have so much fun that the devil get frustrated at my joy.

Let me encourage you to be David and to believe that you will see and experience God's goodness not just in the "sweet by-and-by," but here on earth, every day, in the ordinary activities of your life. No matter what you are going through, put your hope in God's goodness and expect Him to move in your situation.Be brave and of good courage; let your heart be stout and enduring. Wait for and hope for and expect the Lord where you live today... in the land of the living.

Day 158: Do A Happy Dance...

I love these daily blessings and this one fit well for my day today. Tomorrow I will hopefully have some fun news to share... no it has nothing to do with my book. You'll just have to wait and see...

May you shake the dust off your feet and leave your frustrations behind you. May you do a happy dance for the blessings you enjoy (and would miss if they were missing). May you stretch your arms open wide and receive a fresh dose of His mercy and grace for all that you are and long to be. And may you lie down in peace because you're His.

Day 157: Through The Mighty Waters...

Your path led through the sea,
your way through the mighty waters,
though your footprints were not seen. ~Psalm 77:19

I love this verse. Not only is it poetic, but it speaks a deep truth. I’ve been seeing a lot of my friends struggle lately and  I too am struggling to understand certain things... honestly who isn’t?

Sometimes we go through a bump in the road. Everything could be going great and then all of a sudden bam, you get hit with something unexpectedly. It could be just a little one day bump or it could be a much longer bump... The kind you have no clue when it will go away.

Could you imagine what Moses and the Israelites thought when they came to the Red Sea. Shear panic into shear awe.

God allows us into mighty waters, not because he doesn’t love us... He does! Yet, because truly in the end there is a purpose. Something that might not have come to be if it wasn’t for that bump.

When the waters rise, do not fear. God is there, He is beside you and is following your every step. Guiding your hand and eventually leading you to higher ground. Remember and hold dear to that.

Here is a song that I think fits well with my post today. Below it I have the lyrics for those of you that aren’t able to see the video. Enjoy~

Let The Waters Rise
By
Mikeschair

Don't know where to begin
Its like my world's caving in
And I try but I can't control my fear
Where do I go from here?

sometimes its so hard to pray
When You feel so far away
But I am willing to go
Where you want me to
God, I trust You

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

I will swim in the deep
'Cuz You'll be next to me
You're in the eye of the storm
And the calm of the sea
You're never out of reach

God, You know where I've been
You were there with me then
You were faithful before

You'll be faithful again
I'm holding Your hand

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

God Your love is enough
You will pull me through
I'm holding onto You
God Your love is enough
I will follow You
I will follow You

Ohhh

There's a raging sea
Right in front of me
Wants to pull me in
Bring me to my knees
So let the waters rise
If You want them to
I will follow You
I will follow You
I will follow You

Ohhh

Day 156: Christian The Lion

I can't help but smile every time I watch this. I highly recommend seeing the entire amazing story on this special lion. Animal Planet did a newer version on it last year, but I wasn't able to find it on Youtube.
Wow... I thought Wyatt gave BIG hugs... haha. Enjoy~

In 1969 a young Australian, John Rendall and his friend Ace Bourke, bought a small lion cub from Harrods pet department, which was then legal. 'Christian' was kept in the basement of a furniture shop on the Kings Road in Chelsea, the heart of the swinging sixties. Loved by all, the affectionate cub ate in a local restaurant, played in a nearby graveyard (church grounds), but was growing fast...

A chance encounter with Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna led to a new life for Christian. He came to live in a huge enclosure and to sleep in a caravan at their Surrey home. Then in 1971 he was flown to Kenya, his ancestral home, and returned to the wild by lion-man George Adamson. Nine months later in 1972, John and Ace returned to Kora in Kenya. This clip is of their reunion at that time

Day 155: Some Good Wisdom...

I saw these two great little post and felt like I should share them. I hope tomorrow I'll have something more original... I have bloggers block. Haha... I hope these lovely words from a person named Wilma, bless you. They truly are full of good wisdom!

Like Jonah, if we are not careful we can be spiritually "looking good" on the outside, but far from God in our hearts. He is most interested in what we are like on the inside. His Word is "sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit" (Heb. 4:12). With it , He performs divine surgery to remove the greed, dishonesty, hatred, pride, and selfishness that live in the deep shadows of our hearts. Then the Lord said "is it right for for you to be angry?" (Jonah 4:4)The Word is a Blessing!

The Old testament book of Proverbs urges us to carefully consider the long- term results of all our choices. The phrase "in the end" (Proverbs 5:4; 25:8; 29:21) is a warning to look down the road and ask if what we're attracted to will ultimately lead to joy or sorrow, honor or disgrace, life or death. "For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright" (2:6-7). to avoid tragic results of foolish choices is embracing God's wisdom as our guide through life.

Day 154: Luck Of The Draw...

I had a really busy, yet fun day today. I went to a sweet wedding, a writing get together, and saw the new Snow White... all back to back. Because of my busy day, my post is going to be short... I picked a number for a Psalm and this is the one I got. I must say it's a very nice one... enjoy.

The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles and coastlands be glad!
Clouds and darkness are round about Him [as at Sinai]; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
Fire goes before Him and burns up His adversaries round about.
His lightnings illumine the world; the earth sees and trembles.
The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.
Let all those be put to shame who serve graven images, who boast in idols. Fall prostrate before Him, all you gods.
Zion heard and was glad, and the daughters of Judah rejoiced [in relief] because of Your judgments, O Lord.
For You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
O you who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the lives of His saints (the children of God), He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection].
Rejoice in the Lord, you [consistently] righteous (upright and in right standing with God), and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
~Psalm 97

Day 153: Camp-Nanowrimo...

Today was the first day for Campnanowrimo. I've have tried to do Nanowrimo in November a few times, but horribly failed... like it only lasted a week. For those of you wondering what Nanowrimo is, it's a crazy fun thing for writers where you have a BIG, yet possible goal of writing a book in one month. There is a catch though, the book must be at least 50,000 words(approximately 175 page) novel. Yes, 50,000 words in 30 days!

This time I'm going to try to succeed and if you're a writer feel free to join me... they also do one in July.
Here is my account so you can follow my progress (if you want.)

This is the first time I'm working on a novel different form my beloved book, The Realm of Hearts. And it's a way different genre... Steampunk. (Now that's an odd word)

If you are a fellow Nanowrimo please give me some tips, because I'm going to need them.
