Day 27: Through The Fog...

We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!1 ~Corinthians 13:12

The last few days we finally got some heavy rain and light snow. Usually my area doesn't get fog, but today in the early morning on our two hour drive to Sacramento, we had heavy eerie fog.

Sometimes we go through a fog and see things so blurry. I don't understand why hard things happen, but I do know that God sees it differently. With our tears He brings courage and strength. Death doesn't hurt Him, because death itself has been conquered through Him.
Heartache has touched everyone one of us. Some of us have had greater heartache than others. The saddest thing in all of this is that too many of us hold tightly onto our heartaches, pushing the healing away. We lean on it, eat it, and let it control us...We live our lives in a fog.  This is not what God intended!

Take off the extra fog that drags you down, hand it over to the one that will freely clear it away and give you some sunshine.
