Day Seven: A New You...

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!  ~2 Corinthians 5:17
Today my mom and I painted our soon to be guest house and art studio. This house hasn't been painted in decades. We haven't been able to redo it, until recently.  This house was hideous looking and has needed a ton of work. It ate up the paint and is truly starting to transform into something beautiful.
Many of us are like this house, desperate for a new look, a new beginning, a new life. So many of us don't know where to search and some of us forget, the promise that was given to us.
Have you ever looked at the different seasons of a tree?  In the summer time they're green, beautiful, and full. In the Autumn time most of them turn a glories vibrate color. In the winter time most become bare, yet strong and sturdy, for the harsh cold weather. In the Spring their beauty returns... but in a new way.
God has given us all a special beauty... one that can be found from no one else. God has given us all a new beginning... one that is for anyone, no matter your past. God has given us a new life... one that was always chosen for us, but had to be freely asked by us.

Are you a dried up house or a bare tree? Come or return to the one that makes all things new... the one that has a grand plan for you.
